Bardinelli was born in Bridgeport to Diane Stearns-Kuhl Bardinelli and Ronald Bardinelli. He graduated from Bullard-Havens High School and worked as a self-employed contractor.
He was predeceased by his father, Ronald. He is survived by his mother, Diane; three children, Kate, Deana and Larry Jr., all of Hamden; three grandchildren, Aubrey, Joaquin and Jasen II; a sister, Laura Achilles and her husband, Bill; two brothers, Dean "Dino" of Stratford and Scott and his wife, Debi, of Trumbull; his partner Barbara Perez; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; and many friends.
Visiting hours are Wednesday, July 1, from 4-8 p.m. at the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main St., Stratford.
By request, all other services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to benefit his children and grandchildren, either through the funeral director or directly to the family.
